Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer – aim for a dozen new people each time – and return comments. This group is all about connecting!

Twitter handle is @TheIWSG and hashtag is #IWSG.

The awesome co-hosts for the December 5 posting of the IWSG are J.H. Moncrieff, Tonja Drecker , Patsy Collins, and Chrys Fey!

December 5 question – What are five objects we’d find in your writing space?

Five Items in my Writing Space

I missed last month’s post. I started writing it, but never got it posted. Along with the NaNo project I had plans for, but didn’t finish this year. And barely even got started. But that’s okay!! I’m writing 2018 off and starting fresh in 2019. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is heading into a smooth holiday season.

I’m notoriously bad about having a dedicated writing space. That space is usually on the couch, despite the fact that I have an office space and a desk. I need to get into the habit of using my dedicated writing space. But, were I to use it regularly, here are five items you might find in my writing space:

  1. A cat (or three)

  2. Coffee or Tea

  3. Stickers (my desk is covered)

  4. Maybe a blanket, in the winter especially

  5. A way to listen to music

There ya have it!

Thanks for dropping by!
